Descriptive. Paper I: Tamil Eligibility Test (SSLC standard), 100 marks, 3 hours, qualifying (the other papers are evaluated only if 40% is secured). Papers II, III and IV: 250 marks and 3 hours each. Then interview and records (100 marks).
